Got a call this morning around 8am from an Asian lady who was just talking non stop nonsense, couldn’t make out a single word she said. Then she just hung up on me suddenly. Proper odd!

Got a call just after 8 this mornin, but it sounded like one of those auto dialler things 'cos it cut off after a few seconds without anyone sayin anything.

Had a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming to be from BT accounts, but I told her we aren't customers with BT and she then said she must have dialled the wrong number. Pretty clear it was a scam to me.

A few months back, i shifted to a new place and kept my old landline number, but with it came a load of annoying calls. My phone just won’t pick up most of the time, and there’s this one woman who keeps ringing asking for "mrs plum". When i tell her to stop calling, she just goes quiet and hangs up, which is really rude. These calls usually start early, about 8 in the morning, and then i get like two or three calls over a few days. I just don’t understand why it’s happening?

Got a call from a bloke with an Asian accent claiming to be from BT, saying I could get two months free rental since I was a loyal customer. When I told him I wasn’t with BT, he just hung up on me. Definitely a scam.

Got a call from someone claiming to be from BT offering me free mobile calls and all that. They asked for my name, and I told them no way are you from BT - they never just hand out freebies and are usually the most expensive. As soon as I called them out, the caller just ended the call. Definitely a scam, watch out!

A few months back, I changed address but kept my old landline number. Unfortunately, with it came a heap of annoying calls. The number won’t even accept incoming calls properly, and there's this persistent woman always asking for "Mrs Plum." I’ve told her several times to stop calling, but she just shuts up and hangs up on me. It’s really rude. These calls usually kick off first thing, around 8 in the morning, and I end up getting 2 or 3 calls every few days. It’s beyond frustrating - why won’t it just stop?

Dodgy call! A lady with an Indian accent claimed she was with BT, offering 35% off and free line rental for three months, saying it was because we're loyal BT customers. Thing is, we don’t even have BT as our provider. She messed up the postcode, address, and name, probably hoping I’d fix it for her, but I just played along. Then she asked for bank and card info… At that moment, I dropped two words: ‘Sex’ and ‘Travel’. That done it for me.

Got a call from someone with an Asian accent claiming they’d give me three months free line rental for being with BT for years. Then she passed me to her “manager.” They already had my details like name, phone number and address, but when I asked for the account number, they just made one up. I hung up straight away.

I got a call from a bloke with a strange accent claiming to be from BT or something similar. He was trying to sell me 3 months free line rental plus some other freebies. Seemed like he was a bit too clued up about me, which made me suspicious. When he asked me to verify some details, I refused and just ended the call right there.

Total scam! Got a call from a woman with an Indian accent claiming she was from BT, offering some deal like 35% off and free line rental for a few months as a loyalty reward. Problem is, we aren't even with BT. She messed up the postcode, address and even the name, probably hoping I'd fix it. I just played along. Then she asked for bank and card details. Nope, not happening. Just needed to say: s#x and travel. Beware!
