Got a call from plan.com earlier. They wanted to check if I was having any problems with a Vodafone number that was blocked or something. Bit odd really.

I didn't pick up the call. When I looked up the code, it came from Telford, a place I have no connections with. After checking the site, it seems like it might be a scam, so I'll definitely be blocking it.

Got a call from a number in Telford, England, but the person on the other end had a really strong American accent. They were talking about some mobile network I’d never come across before. Honestly, I wasn't sure if it was a real person or some kind of robot. Didn’t hang around to find out - I just ended the call straight away!

I got a scam call the other day, so I told the person on the other end that I only communicate telepathically through those giraffe-shaped mobile towers. I said unless she was a giraffe too, it’d be pretty tough to get the message. Funny enough, she just hung up when I started explaining how great it is being a telepathic giraffe!

Got a call from someone with an American accent claiming to be from plan.com, talking about some phone contract. I was like, "Sorry, what?" and he just repeated himself. So, I just ended the call. It showed up as possible spam, but I kinda hoped it was one of those win a prize calls! Haha.

Somebody called saying they were from Three, trying to trick me into changing my plan or signing up for something new. Thing is, I was already locked into a contract with another provider, and they didn’t know any of my info. Definitely felt like a complete scam.

Totally pointless call that I never asked for. Just spam, really.

Got a call earlier from some company claiming to be a phone provider I’d never come across before. They said it was about a business account. I asked them whose name the account was under, but the person said she couldn't share that because of GDPR. Then I asked how they could even talk about changing an account without verifying who I was. She didn’t really have an answer and just went back to her usual spiel about saving me money on my phone bill. I ended the call and blocked the number straight away. Total scam, watch out!

My phone marked this number as spam and it really was. They claimed to be from my mobile company, EE, but I told them straight up I never share any details on calls I didn't ask for. The caller was quite polite, said thanks and hung up.

I got a call from someone saying they wanted to check over my O2 account, which caught me off guard since I’m not even with O2. I asked her a few questions but she couldn’t give clear answers, so I just ended up hanging up.

Got a call claiming to be from EE trying to offer me a better deal. I told them I’d only just renewed my contract and was satisfied with it, so they ended the call straight away. I only signed up again two weeks ago, so if they were legit, they’d have checked that first. Total scam in my opinion!

Somewhat dodgy call claiming to be from Vodafone about a phone contract. They started all polite, asking how I was and that, but when I told them I was busy and couldn’t chat, they just cut the call off. Proper businesses wouldn’t just go silent like that. Definitely felt like a scam to me.

Connor rang from this number, saying he was calling from EE to see if he could improve my mobile service, costs etc. It didn’t sound very convincing, and I said no. Sadly, you can’t ask EE or BT if it is genuine without ringing them, and that’s a nightmare.

Beware of this phone company, plan.com. They often pretend to be O2 reps, trying to trick people into thinking they're offering an upgrade with O2. What they're actually doing is taking over your account without permission. It's really dodgy and feels like a scam to me.
