Somebody rang me pretending to be from BT and then handed me over to a so called senior tech. He just repeated what the first guy said, saying there were some errors showing up on my internet. He asked me to use my PC so they could fix the issue. Their English was really rough and hard to follow.

Got a call with a recorded message from a lady claiming to be from TalkTalk, saying my phone line was about to be cut off today. She asked me to press one, but I just hung up and decided to not answer the following calls. Tried to block the number but it didn’t seem to work.

I had a couple of calls this afternoon that showed up on my phone as originating from 08003 357000. However, when I dialled BT 1572 to prevent any future communications from that number, I was taken aback to discover it was actually from 01952872061. It seems there’s a bit of tomfoolery afoot with them trying to cloak their real number. Quite underhanded, if you ask me!
