Got a call from a number with a local area code claiming it was Amazon, saying I’d made a purchase of nearly £900. They told me to press 1 if I hadn’t ordered anything. I just hung up straight away and blocked the number. Then today, the same scam came through again, this time from an 01952 number. I know these scammers can show any number they like, even from far away. Proper dodgy people they are.
