I got a call from someone saying they were with Microsoft and that my PC was in danger. They had me open things on my computer that showed errors and warnings, clearly meant to freak you out. When I called them out on it being a scam, they denied it and asked me to hit Windows+r to open a box. Just then, I asked again which company they were calling from, but they wouldn’t reply, called me rude, and hung up. Tried calling the number back and it was already disconnected, so yeah, total con.
