Got a call with loads of noise in the background, and the person asked for me by name. She claimed to be from BT's “technical department”. I told her I’m not with BT and just ended the call right there.

There was loads of noise in the background, and this woman said she was calling from BT, telling me my router had issues the last few days. Thing is, I’m not even a BT customer. I told her everything was working alright and she just ended the call!

Got calls from 01952582230 yesterday around 8.15 in the morning, and then from 01952504968 at about 9.24 today. Both times it was those dodgy broadband scam calls.

I received a rather peculiar call from someone purporting to be from BT, stating that my internet connection had been acting up. He asked me to ring back on the number 0203239666. He introduced himself as Peter. However, I checked and my internet is running perfectly well-no glitches whatsoever. Just another dodgy scam, I reckon!

I've just received yet another dodgy call regarding my Internet supposedly being compromised, and the caller presented herself as Angela from BT Internet. She was operating from some Indian call centre, I presume. When I told her that I wasn’t buying into her nonsense, she rather rudely told me to 'sod off, you're wasting my time'. Quite the cheek!

I received a call from someone claiming to be Angela, who actually addressed me by name. There was quite a bit of commotion in the background, which tipped me off that it was likely a scam. I tried to be polite and asked her, "How's it going?" but she snapped back with, "Don't waste my time," and promptly ended the call. Quite the experience!

I received a call from a rather raucous call centre where the chap on the other end rudely told me to shove off! When I cheekily replied with a bit of banter, he seemed taken aback...

I received a rather peculiar call today, where the caller requested that I access my computer. The individual had a noticeable foreign accent. But when I mentioned that I was a BT engineer, the conversation took a turn. He rather rudely suggested I stop wasting his time and told me to shove off. Quite the unexpected exchange!

When I picked up the call, it disconnected right away. Seems rather dodgy to me.

I recently received a couple of phone calls, having taken the plunge to answer the first. An individual with a noticeable accent from the Indian subcontinent told me, mirroring what others have mentioned before, that they were looking to rectify some issues with my internet connection. The call was marred by a dreadful line and the typical racket you'd expect from a call centre. Sensing something amiss, I pointed out that this seemed like a phishing attempt and promptly hung up, avoiding any potential hassle that others have encountered. Almost straight away, my phone buzzed again with another call from the same number. I chose to ignore it this time and later verified the caller's digits, confirming it was indeed the same. My internet is perfectly fine, so it’s clear this was nothing but a scam.
