2 yearsGot a call from a woman with a noticeable Asian accent asking if I was Mr. Thomas. I said yes, my name’s Thomas. She claimed I’d been mistakenly charged an extra £143 and was owed money back. I asked her what account this supposed overcharge was on, but she didn’t answer. Then she mentioned it was for a kitchen appliance. When I pressed which one, she said a fridge. I told her my fridge is at least 20 years old and this was nonsense. Before I could outright call her a scammer, she cut the call.
