This number called me and played a recorded message about a supposed transaction on my card, but it didn’t say which card or which bank it was with. They asked me to press 1 to talk to someone. I’m well aware these are scams, so I just hung up straight away. These scammers are a proper nuisance, so please don’t get caught out by them. If you’re worried about your bank or credit card, it’s always best to ring the contact number printed right on your card.
