Got a call from some bloke around half past seven this morning, claiming to be from BT and asking about my internet. Didn’t bother with it, just ended the call straight away.

Got a call early morning from someone claiming to be with British Telecom about my internet not working. They asked some strange questions that didn’t really make sense. Then they called back just after 7am repeating the same spiel. I had to end the call because the person wouldn’t accept no as an answer. Proper annoying!

Got a call on 3rd March 2020 around 7:15 am. The person on the other end claimed our BT internet was in some kind of danger and urged immediate action. I’m sure this is a scam trying to trick you into handing over access to your computer or network. They'll probably try to sell pricey antivirus software that you don't need. They target people who might get worried about their system's security. Best advice? Tell them to leave you alone and just end the call.
