Picked up the call, and after a brief pause, a chap responded in a language I didn’t understand. I promptly hung up and added the number to my blocklist.

After mentioning before that I was expecting a call back around 5pm and then blocking the original number to avoid them, I noticed they rang me again, but this time from a number that was just a bit different - 01951 390136. Didn’t answer and blocked that one straight away as well!

Got a call about EE phone deals, sounded like a total scam - really aggressive and kept pushing hard!

A caller reached out, purporting to be from EE and representing their "promotions team." They were pushing some supposedly complimentary upgrade to an iPhone 15. Sounded rather fishy to me!

Got a call about cheap phone upgrades, they were trying to sell me a better plan.

Got a call from someone claiming to be with EE saying my contract was ending and if I fancied an upgrade. Thing is, I’m with a completely different provider and don’t even have a monthly contract. Tried to explain but they just kept going with all these questions and deals, made me feel really uneasy like they were trying to trap me. Ended up cutting the call and blocking the number. No doubt, absolutely a scam.

Some woman claimed she worked in EE's promotions team and was trying to give me a free iPhone 15, with tons of free data thrown in, all supposedly cheaper than my current EE plan. I asked her three times for a number I could ring back to check it was legit, but she kept dodging the question with loads of rubbish. In the end, I just ended the call, thinking it was definitely a scam.

Somebody rang saying they were with Sky TV, but when I asked why they were using that number, they just hung up straight away.
