Some bloke with an Indian accent rang me up and somehow knew my name, started quizzing me about debts I supposedly had. I didn’t hang about - called him a conman and told him to piss off.

I got a call from a woman with an Asian accent claiming to be from the NHS. She wanted to check on my vaccine details and asked if I had any health or life insurance. As soon as I told her it was none of her concern, she just suddenly ended the call. Pretty clear to me they’re trying to scam people.

Hello, someone called claiming to be from Credit Score. This wasn’t the first time either, I’d gotten a few calls earlier about the covid vaccine too.

Didn’t pick up when it rang, so I decided to check the number online. After seeing what others said, I’ve gone ahead and blocked it. That 01951209190 number is dodgy for sure.

Got a call from someone with an Asian accent, sounded dodgy like they were using a VPN to cover where they really were. They claimed I owed some money but I didn’t hang about, just ended the call straight away. Nowadays, I block any calls from numbers I don’t recognise because there’s loads of scams going around. You’ve got to watch out, seriously. Make sure you save your mates and family in your contacts so you know who’s calling, and just don’t pick up if the number’s unfamiliar.

So annoying how these call centres from India keep using UK landline numbers to make their calls look legit. Makes you wonder what the phone companies are actually doing to sort this out. When I rang BT/EE about it, they just told me I could change my number if I don’t want the calls anymore. But seriously, how on earth did they even get hold of my number?

I picked up a call from a guy with an Asian accent claiming he worked in credit investigations. I calmly told him the call wasn’t anything to do with me, thinking he was probably just following orders. Out of nowhere, he started shouting some horrible stuff, calling me all sorts of names and telling me to go away and die. I didn’t reply, just hung up and switched my phone off to make sure there was no chance of him hanging about on the line - seemed like one of those dodgy scam tactics.

Got a call from someone who spoke terrible English, said they were from the NHS. They rang my mobile first, then tried the landline. As soon as I heard NHS, I told them to get lost with some swear words. They didn’t bother me again, must’ve got fed up. That’s the only time I swore at these calls.

It was some bloke with an Asian accent trying to scam me. They kept saying I owed money I didn’t, then when I told them no, they just hung up on me. Honestly, just block the number and don’t waste your time. They should do something better with their life instead of bothering honest people like us.

I received a call from a gentleman with an Indian accent who seemed to know my last name and asked me to verify it. Rather than indulge him, I questioned his identity instead. He then proceeded to prattle on about some unsecured debts, at which point I expressed my disdain, telling him he ought to be embarrassed and accusing him of being a con artist before telling him to leave me alone.

01951209190 - I keep getting calls from numbers like this one, but they swap out just a single digit each time. They never say anything unless I pick up and speak, then they just hang up right away. It’s really frustrating, especially since I’m stuck at home healing from surgery. Over the past couple of weeks, I’ve blocked loads of similar numbers, but it still hasn’t stopped. They really should not be allowed to carry on like this.
