This bloke was really pushy, wouldn’t accept a simple no. His accent was very obvious and definitely foreign, making me think he was part of some call centre. He kept trying to convince me to switch away from my current provider to theirs!

Got a call from a number I didn’t know, and after a brief pause, a woman with a strong accent answered. She weirdly knew my name, but when I didn’t respond, she quickly said “oh never mind” and hung up. Seems like one of those call centre things. Anyway, I’ve blocked the number now.

If you switch to another provider, Eon keeps ringing non stop with loads of automated messages telling you to call them back. It’s proper annoying how they hassle you when you try to leave.
