We received a rather peculiar call at the unearthly hour of 2am on our mobile. The chap on the line claimed to be affiliated with Comet, asking us to verify if our fridge was functioning properly. The signal dropped mid-conversation, prompting another call from him. Oddly enough, there were strange noises resembling a call centre in the background. Had it been daylight, we certainly would have dismissed this as a prank!
