Since the number seemed local, I picked up. At first, nothing but silence, then some robotic female voice came on about a £1000 payment to Amazon and an overseas transaction from my bank. They said if I hadn’t made it to press 1 to cancel or something like that... I just hung up straight away. Later, I looked at my bank details and everything was fine. It's worrying that these calls can show up as local numbers, really sneaky.
