Got a call from a bloke named Andrew asking for my dad. I told him dad had passed away. He kept pressing for details about when and how it happened. I asked who he was and why he needed to know that stuff. He said he worked from home and repeated his questions about dad’s death. I mentioned I’d taken care of him. Then he rudely said if dad was dead, I must’ve done a rubbish job and told me to go back to school and learn to be a better woman. Honestly, it was a pretty awful and upsetting chat.

Got a phone call earlier, the person said I was a valued customer and might qualify for a discount. They knew my initials but couldn't get my first name, so I told them if they were actually from BT they’d already know it. Then they said they'd send me the info in the post. Not holding my breath for that one!
