Today I ordered something off Amazon and then got a robo call about a £399 charge, asking me to press ‘1’ if I wanted to chat with someone. Of course, I didn’t press anything. This call came through at 13:49 on 13-04-2020.

Got a call from someone claiming to be TalkTalk, said there were suspicious users on my internet. They wanted me to type something into the run box on my computer to check their server. I told them I'd call TalkTalk myself to verify and hung up. Then, for a while, I couldn't get any dialling tone on my line - they must've been waiting for me to ring TalkTalk and pretend to be them.
