I tried ringing this number back but it’s dead, so I reckon the call was just a scam. They said they were from Amazon, trying to verify my £39.99 subscription and told me to press 1 if I wanted to cancel and speak to a manager. Of course, if you did press 1, you’d probably get someone asking for your personal info instead of actually cancelling. These scam robocalls are getting totally out of control nowadays.
