Constantly bombarding me with calls I didn't ask for, it's rather tiresome.

I received a call from a woman overseas, and it was obvious there were several individuals chatting away in the background, all engaged in their own phone conversations. The connection was terrible. She claimed to be part of a free phone network and mentioned that I could snag the latest mobile at a 40% discount. Then she inquired about my current phone and provider. The line was so poor that I asked her to repeat herself, and she promptly disconnected. Here’s a nugget of wisdom: when they realise you’re struggling to hear, they often hang up sooner or later, likely to move on to easier prey for their scams. I suspect they might record you as difficult to communicate with or even mark your number as less appealing, which could lead to receiving fewer scam calls. It’s best to avoid provoking them, as they might attempt to ring back deliberately. I’ve blocked the number, but they seem to switch to new ones effortlessly.
