I usually look up numbers before picking up, but this one had a familiar area code so I went ahead and answered. The voice on the other end was an Indian fella but I couldn’t make out what he was saying, so I ended the call quickly. Honestly, these scam calls are happening way too often, makes me seriously consider getting rid of our landline altogether.

I got a call from a guy with an Indian accent just saying “hello” before hanging up straight away. Seems dodgy to me, probably one of those broadband scams since I already got a similar call today but from another number.

Got a call from 01948857456 and the bloke claimed to be from BT. I told him if he was really from BT, he'd know we don’t even have their service. Then I asked him straight up what kind of scam he was running and he just said “a good scam you effin b******” before hanging up. Didn’t bother me one bit but I get why it might really annoy others.

Got a call from a bloke saying he was with BT Openreach, telling me my BT broadband had loads of issues. Thing is, I’m not even a BT customer, so that sounded really dodgy. When I told him that, he didn’t seem too pleased at all. Definitely fishy.
