Got a message left on my phone saying my internet was involved in "illegal stuff". They kept mentioning BT loads, but I don’t even have BT as my provider. Honestly, these scammers are driving me mad, why can’t someone stop them?

This number dialed me claiming there were suspicious transactions on my card. A lady who said her name was Linda Martin asked for my full name and DOB. I wouldn’t give her anything until she specified which card she was talking about. Then she tried to confuse me by asking which card I had used most recently. I stood my ground, refused to answer and demanded she clarify her concern. She hung up after that. I later checked all my cards and found no unusual activity.

Tried calling back this number but it just went to voicemail and then the call got ended suddenly.
