As soon as I picked up, they just cut the call. I could hear a lot of noise like a busy call centre in the background. Most likely a robot dialling from another country.

I've received a pair of calls from this number within just a week. The person on the line had an Indian accent, claiming to represent BT phone services. It's clearly a scam. The moment I challenged them about it during the second call, they resorted to foul language. Quite the experience!

Apparently, Google shows this number is linked to the Royal British Legion over in Whitchurch. I’m not sure why they’d be ringing people out of the blue like this though. Maybe the call’s been faked, or it could be a strange fundraising try gone wrong? Either way, it doesn’t quite add up.
