A man with an English accent phoned my sister a couple of hours ago. He addressed her by name and claimed to be from Barclays Bank. He discussed her Barclays account and asked if she still resided at her previous address, which luckily is no longer the case. He then went on to mention that over £2000 in pension funds had been reimbursed to her account from a former employer. Unfortunately, the call abruptly ended (presumably so that she would be tempted to call him back, only for him to scam her bank account). Thankfully, she came to me and informed me about the situation. It sounded suspicious, and upon checking the number, I became even more cautious. I decided to search the number online and what do you know! If these dishonest individuals put as much effort into finding legitimate work as they do into running these scams, they would be doing quite well for themselves! Absolute scoundrels!

As soon as you show even the slightest hesitation, they hurriedly begin their well-rehearsed sales pitch. Recently, I had an encounter with one of these individuals. It only took me 45 seconds to identify their deceitful tactics, prompting me to swiftly hang up and block their number. These individuals are truly detestable!

I received two phone calls within a very short time frame. However, when I tried to answer, the caller quickly hung up and blocked their number. Blocking tbe call does not resolve the issue because they will simply use a different number next time. I am becoming extremely frustrated with these nuisance calls.

Dont know who that was. Got a call on my mobile which I had set to go straight to voicemail. Been getting loads after filling out a Morrissons feedback form, thought it was legit. Ive blocked this number now but keep getting calls from other ones that I have to keep blocking or just send them straight to voicemail. I received a call from a company that goes by the name of Twice. I picked up the call on the second ring. The person on the other end informed me that I was entitled to a refund from three different banking companies. However, I assured them that I was not aware of any such refunds due to me. Without causing any trouble, they quickly ended the call. However, what concerns me is that the mentioned banking institutions are ones that I actually use. This makes me suspect that the caller may have access to my personal data, and possibly many others as well. Considering the recent incidents with Talk Talk and similar cases, it is imperative that such fraudulent operations are actively targeted and shut down.
