I had a rather dubious automated call that claimed to be from BT, suggesting that I was engaging in illicit activities with my broadband, and that they would be terminating my service. Curious, I pressed “1” and found myself chatting with a chap who sounded Indian. I mentioned that I’ve worked for BT myself, and accused him of being a fraudster. He attempted to debate with me, but I told him to find an honest line of work before he abruptly ended the call. I've since blocked this number.

I ignored the call since the number was unfamiliar to me. After checking out the reviews here, I now see it was probably a scam. Really glad for everyone sharing their experiences on ‘Who called me’.

Got a robo call saying it was from my bank about two suspicious charges - one around £300 from Amazon and another near £1000 for some transfer. They told me to press 1 to approve or 2 to chat with someone. Definitely a scam, don’t fall for it!

They keep ringing me from different but similar numbers, and honestly, they don’t even let my voicemail begin before their recorded message kicks in. It always says something like “Press 2 to talk to an agent.” I picked up once, and like others have mentioned, it’s the same old story. They talk about some bogus Amazon order or a payment I supposedly missed, and then they try to get you to send money overseas. It’s baffling how anyone could fall for this nonsense, honestly. You’d think they’d know better!

Got an automated call today about some Amazon payment and money being sent overseas or something like that… felt really dodgy to me.
