The caller said she was with BT and called about my internet. When I told her we don’t use BT for internet, there was complete silence. I then asked where they even got my number from!

They claimed to be with BT but it was pretty clear they weren’t. I told them they’d have to let me connect to their computer so I could check my internet, but only after I installed some software on their end. As soon as I said that, they just ended the call.

Someone called to say my internet wasn't safe or something, sounded a bit dodgy to me.

Got a call from some scammers claiming they were BT, saying there was an issue with my internet. Total nonsense!

Somebody rang saying they were from b.t., warning me my internet was at risk of being hacked, telling me to get on the computer and do as they said. I told them my lad is an IT professional and he’d handle it. After that, it went completely quiet and they just hung up. No doubt at all it was a scam! I’m going to report it to b.t. for sure.

I got a call from someone saying they were from my internet provider, telling me my computer had been hacked. They wanted me to log onto my PC but I ended the call right away. Tried ringing them back and then heard a message saying "you’ve dialled the wrong number, please try again." Sounds like a total scam to me!

The call got picked up by my voicemail, then some robotic voice just said “bye” and hung up.
