Received an unexpected call from this number, seemingly linked to Whitehaven in Cumbria. I don’t know anyone in that region, and since my number is ex-directory and registered with the Telephone Preference Service, I'm inclined to think it's just some numpty trying to peddle a scam. I've gone ahead and blocked the number, plus I've reported it to Ofcom. I’d recommend steering clear of it, as it feels like harassment to me.

Got a call from some muppet out of Whitehaven, Cumbria, but all I got was silence. Don’t think it was anything genuine since I don’t know anyone from that place. My number’s on the TPS and it’s unlisted anyway. Just went ahead and blocked it.

Received a call where no one spoke on the line to my TPS-registered, ex-directory number. It appears to have come from some joker in Whitehaven, Cumbria. I've gone ahead and reported it to Ofcom. I'd suggest labelling this number as a nuisance and blocking it right away!
