Had an automated ring, supposedly from BT, warning me that my broadband and landline were on the verge of being cut off. They urged me to press 1 to chat with one of their so-called tech experts. I promptly hung up and decided to contact BT directly at their proper number, 0800 800150, where they assured me it was a complete con. After that, I went ahead and blocked the number using 1572 on my BT handset.
