I received a phone call from this number earlier today. It was a chap named Tom, claiming he was reaching out regarding the loft insulation I supposedly received through a government scheme. He mentioned that I haven't actually had any, and before I could respond, he abruptly ended the call. Quite strange, really!

I didn’t quite catch the name of the company, but I believe it was something like NCC or along those lines, related to PPI.

I received a call from this number, which I unfortunately couldn't answer at the time. They have a policy of not accepting withheld numbers, so I wasn't able to get through. Eventually, I managed to connect with a woman who sounded American, and she started talking to me about PPI claims. I informed her that I wasn't eligible, as I had already confirmed this with my bank. She probed further, asking whether I had conducted the check myself or if I had sought assistance from a claims company. I clarified that I had reached out to the bank directly. Then she suggested they run a check on my behalf, but I firmly declined and requested that my number be removed from their calling list.
