Got a call the other day about my “BT internet connection,” which is odd since I don’t even use BT for my internet. The person on the line had a heavy accent and was quite hard to make out. I tried throwing in a bit of typical British chit-chat - you know, asking how their day was or about the weather. They really didn’t seem too keen on that, and after a bit, they hung up. Maybe keeping them on the ropes with some small talk is the trick to getting them off your back!
