That phone number’s actually linked to a doctor’s surgery in Wisbech, so it looks like BT might have given you the wrong info.

I got a call from this number earlier today, so I contacted BT to check it out. They told me the call didn't actually originate in Wisbech but was coming from overseas through some international network. When I tried ringing it back from Wisbech, BT confirmed the number was invalid. Sadly, they weren’t much help beyond pushing me to buy a new phone system that supposedly blocks these calls. It’s pretty frustrating paying for a phone line and having to put up with so many nuisance calls, then having to spend even more just to try and stop them. When is BT going to properly sort this mess out?
