I received a call from this number today and, after contacting BT, I found out that it doesn’t actually originate from Wisbech. Instead, it’s routed from overseas through international services. I attempted to call the number myself from Wisbech, but it turns out to be invalid according to BT's checks. Frustratingly, they didn't offer any solutions apart from trying to sell me a new phone system that supposedly would block these nuisance calls. Isn’t it outrageous that you shell out money for a phone service, only to be bombarded with bothersome calls? And then to add insult to injury, they expect you to fork out even more just to rid yourself of this hassle. When will BT finally take responsibility and tackle this ongoing problem?
