Got a call from someone claiming to be from BT, saying there was an issue with our internet router. They said they’d be sending out a new one plus £150 compensation. Then they tried to get me to download some app on my phone. It felt suspicious right away - no way BT would just give cash like that, and our router was working fine anyway. Definitely a dodgy scam.
