Just got a call from someone saying they were from the telephone preference service, which I'd only just signed up to so I wouldn’t get these annoying calls. They wanted me to give my card info for some direct debit thing. Obviously it was dodgy so I ended the call quick once they saw I wasn’t falling for it.

Got a call at 9 in the morning, first nothing but silence, then I heard noises like someone was flipping between calls. I just ended it straight away.
