Had a call from someone claiming to be from TalkTalk’s tech team about some errors they said they spotted on my router over the past few weeks. The lady, called Ellie, had an Indian accent. Thing is, I dont think TalkTalk have any support centre around Wisbech, UK. Also, they dont actually monitor your internet router performance remotely. If you want to check your router yourself and feel a bit safer, theres a site by Steve Gibson, one of the 'white knights' who has tested just about every router worldwide as of 2012. i got a call from someone claiming to be ellie at talktalk, said my router was having issues because of some weird activity they spotted. i told her she was wrong and hadn't noticed anything. then she just dropped the call!

over two days i got calls from someone saying they were from talktalk. they gave a british name but the accent didnt match, sounded more like indian!
