I usually don't pick up unknown numbers but I did this time and a woman with a really thick Indian accent was on the line. I couldn’t quite catch where exactly she said she was ringing from and as soon as I asked questions, she just ended the call. Sounds like a typical scam to me.

They called me claiming to be from O2 and said I could get a discount on my phone calls. Seemed fishy to me.

Some bloke rang saying he was from 3, said he could slash my bill and give me £100 as a bonus! He wanted me to spell out my name, so I asked him to spell his back, and then all of a sudden he said he couldn’t find my name anywhere. When I asked how he knew I was really a 3 customer, he just cut the call!

So this guy said he was from Carphone Warehouse, asked how I was doing, and as soon as I answered, he just cut the call. Pretty sure it’s a scam, but I can’t help feeling a bit uneasy that they might’ve been recording what I said...

So this guy calls, says he’s from EE, but when I looked up the number it was already flagged as dodgy. I told him to find a real job instead of messing about, then he just hung up on me!!?
