Got a call from some unknown number claiming that £900 had been taken from my bank and to "press one for help." I double-checked my account and it was all made up. I've blocked the number and reported it. Watch out for these scammers!

Got a call earlier from someone saying they were with Vodafone. They wanted to check my line’s address, but I told them to wait since if it’s really Vodafone, they’d know I’ve got a PIN set up. The person then asked for the first and third digits of my PIN. I just gave them some made-up numbers because I was already suspicious. They replied that the numbers were right and thanked me. Totally not true though, so I told them never to ring me again. Had to block the number after that. - Caller pretended to be Vodafone.

Got two calls from this number earlier today. I always assume unknown callers are probably scammers. I never answer or return missed calls from numbers I don’t recognise. If it’s important, they’ll leave a voicemail. Also, if you get any suspicious texts, don’t forget to report them by forwarding to 7726.

Total scam alert! They say they can give you a deal on your "existing contract", then try to get your info and payment details. Best thing to do? Just cut the call and contact your provider directly using their official number. If you just block or ignore these calls, they won’t get into your account. They hide their real number for a reason, it’s never legit.
