I had a rather amusing encounter with a chap named Benjamin, who fancied himself as a BT technician and happened to be of Asian descent. From the moment our chat began, I could tell it was a right con job. So, I decided to play along but went a bit bonkers instead; I started shouting wildly and then declared my undying affection for him! It was brilliant to watch him squirm, and in the end, he hung up quite abruptly-probably more than a little spooked! It was quite the entertaining rendezvous with this scam artist, Benjamin!

I got a call on my home phone, the screen first showed some International number, then switched to 01944495454 when I accepted. The bloke claimed to be from BT Openreach and kept pushing, wouldn't let me go when I asked him how many folks he’d tricked that day. After a bit, he finally ended the call.
