I received a call at 8 o'clock this evening, but there was no one on the other end and they didn’t leave any voicemail. Quite peculiar, really.

I hung up straight away and suggest you do the same; it's a complete con! I've not participated in any competition, so I can say with certainty that I haven't won £1000 or an iPad.

I received one of those pre-recorded calls claiming I had won a grand or an iPad. They urged me to press 2 if I wanted to carry on, or 9 to opt out. I decided to just hang up instead.

I received a call claiming I had struck it rich with a huge cash prize. Honestly, these sorts of calls need to be put to an end.

I gave them a ring back and received an automated message claiming I had won £1000! It instructed me to press a certain number and that I’d receive a call back within a day. Quite the surprise, if you ask me!

I received a missed call from this number, but there was no voicemail left behind. My gut feeling tells me it's probably just another marketing call of some sort.

It appears I’ve been targeted by a notorious spam autodialler. They keep trying to reach me but only let the phone ring once or twice. When I decided to ring them back, I was met with a pre-recorded voice blaring about how I’ve been selected for a chance to win a grand. What a load of rubbish!
