Got a call from someone saying they were part of a “data preference service” to stop scams and telemarketers, with a one-time fee of £29. Then they started asking for my visa card info. I told them my card was lost, then they switched to wanting my bank details. After a bit, they gave up and hung up. Feels like harassment, and could be risky if you go along with it.
