Don't fall for this, it pretends to be from Amazon but it's a proper scam. If you follow the instructions and press 1, you'll end up on a premium rate line that can run up a massive bill, sometimes costing hundreds of quid. Stay clear!

Was about 9:05 on the 20th of Jan when I got a call from the Oxford area but nobody said anything. Just dead silence on the line.

Got two calls from this number earlier today, neither left a voicemail. I've since blocked it. I'm on the TPS, so pretty annoyed about this.

At around 3:18pm, I received a call from 01943877041 on my landline. A lady’s recorded voice started talking about my Amazon account, which immediately seemed fishy since I don’t have one. I just hung up straight away. Later, at 5:57pm, the same voice and message called again, so I ended the call again without a word. I checked this number on here afterwards, glad to see I wasn’t wrong to ignore it.

Didn't leave a voicemail or anything, so I've just gone ahead and blocked the number.

Got a recorded voice saying my Amazon Prime is up for renewal and to press 1 to chat with someone. I don’t even have an Amazon account, so I was sure it was one of those spam calls. The number came up linked to a place in Guiseley and the name Mils was attached to it.
