My elderly mum got a call from someone saying they're from the local church collection team. They asked for her bank info, and she actually gave it to them thinking it was legit. Turns out, it was just a scam. Really annoying how they target older folks like that!

There was this guy with a really thick accent who sounded quite annoyed when I told him to speak slower and repeat himself. I just wanted to find out who he was and to make it clear I wasn’t interested. I also told him not to ring me again because I’ve been getting loads of calls from them.

this morning, i got a call from a woman asking if i wanted to enter some competition to win £200. it sounded a bit dodgy to me, so i just declined politely.

this number has been ringing me non-stop today. the bloke on the line says he’s a doctor and talks about some appointment i supposedly scheduled. but i never booked anything with a doctor. he wanted me to verify my address, but i didn’t give it. feels a bit dodgy to me.
