1 yearYesterday I got a call from this number, and after I picked up there was a noticeable pause before anyone spoke. The voice on the other side sounded like they were from India and asked me to verify who I was, which I refused. They then had the nerve to mention the call was being recorded for training reasons. I told them I'd ring back later, and he gave me a different number - turns out that one’s also flagged here as a scam.1 yearCompletly a rip off! Stay well clear!!!1 yearAnother load of scammers calling again!1 yearMy partner answered the phone first but didn’t quite catch what the caller was saying, so I stepped in. A man with an Indian accent claimed they needed to update all phone lines or something like that. I told him I wasn’t interested, but he wanted me to stay on the line. Then a bloke called ‘Martin’ came on and started repeating the same spiel, before slipping into trying to sell me a TV package. I cut him off and asked, ‘If this was about phone line upgrades, why are you now pushing a TV deal?’ I then told him I was hanging up and ended the call.Martin1 yeartotal rubbish, got a call from some indian call centre claiming they were sorting out fiber broadband issues and needed to send an engineer. they were going on about how bt was handling it, which is a load of nonsense since bt don't do that job anymore. when i asked where she was calling from, she said the call centre was right in my own village lol. i even said i'd be happy to sign up if we could meet up, but she dodged that. what a bunch of #### scammers!BT1 yearSome woman called me saying my internet would just stop working if I didn’t upgrade with them. She never said which company she was from and sounded really dodgy. No way I’m buying into that nonsense. It’s got to be a scam for sure!1 yearTotally a spam call, no doubt about it.1 yearGot a call from a number supposedly in Guisley, West Yorkshire, but all I got was silence. I don’t recognise anyone from that place, so I’m guessing it was just another spam or scam messing about.GuisleyWest YorkshireSubmit Your Own Report (01943 712607)
