They said they were from Three, but honestly, they sounded like a bunch of kids, probably about 12 or something.

When I asked them to prove they were actually with EE, they couldn’t. They kept pushing me to give out personal details like my address and bank info to sort out a “discounted” monthly deal. I ended up getting in touch with EE, and they told me it definitely wasn’t them calling.

some bloke rang me claiming i'd been in a crash - i told him i don’t mess with any ambulance chasers and to take my number off their list, then i ended the call.

Somebody called saying they were from HMRC, saying they'd checked my taxes and found a mistake with what I’d paid. They asked if I had a lawyer, and when I said no, they pushed me to either pay up now or prepare to go to court. I asked for proof in writing, and they claimed they’d already mailed it last year. When I asked them to send it again, they just dropped the call. Proper nasty scam, felt pretty real at first until they started threatening me with the police coming to arrest me.
