I received an unusual phone call just a short while ago, lasting around twenty minutes. A robotic voice came on, claiming to be from BT, saying my internet was at risk of disconnection due to some third-party interference. It prompted me to press 1 to speak to an adviser for assistance. Quite odd, really! The first number that flashed on my screen was 01942 893452, linked to the Wigan area, and the second one was 01252511837, which showed up as INTERNATIONAL-apparently associated with Aldershot. The last number was 001953688377. This all feels very dodgy; whether they’re attempting to charge me exorbitant fees or trying to gain unauthorised access, I’m not certain. One thing’s for sure-it’s definitely not from BT!
