Got a robotic call early this morning supposedly from a bank, didn’t say which one, asking about a couple of transactions. Ended the call after about 40 seconds. I reckon they’ve probably 'stolen' the number because it showed up as local, an 01942 code. With the way UK phone systems mix old and new tech, it’s easy for scammers to spoof real numbers. I think the number is actually a private one, so I’m just labelling it as Unknown for the moment.
