Today, around 9:56am, I got a voicemail on my answerphone from 01942831698. The message was pretty much like the ones other people have mentioned here already. Strangely, about an hour later, at 10:56am, the same female with an American accent left another message saying exactly the same thing, but this time it came from a different number - 01882603046. It's a bit odd getting repeated calls like this from different numbers!

Got a call from 01942831689, some automated voice saying they were BT tech support. I hung up pretty quick, didn’t let them get far. These calls are happening more often lately and honestly it’s getting really annoying. How come BT is just letting these scammers keep bothering folks like this?

I keep getting calls a few times each month from this number. It's a recorded voice pretending to be BT, saying my internet's going to be disconnected. Not totally sure if they're all coming from the same number though.
