Had a call from someone saying they were with the “home appliances refund team”, trying to get hold of a “Mr John”. Pretty obvious it was a dodgy insurance scam for appliances, but I totally confused the person by telling them there’s no Mr John at my place (there really isn’t). Honestly, they were so clueless I wouldn’t even rate them as a serious threat, just a really rubbish scammer.
