I've recently received a rather dodgy call claiming to be from Amazon, alleging there was unauthorised usage on my card and that it involved a hefty sum being siphoned off. What's more, they threatened that if I dared to ring them back, I'd incur further charges! The number seemed familiar, with the local area code, which is likely to catch plenty of unsuspecting folks off guard. Best to steer clear of that one!
