Got a call from an 'internet provider' warning me I'll be cut off in a day. Pretty sure it's just a scam.

one more time some woman calls saying there’s an issue with my pc, saying she’s from BT, trying to fix my IP address or something like that. this happens almost daily, but the number she calls from keeps changing. i swear it’s a bunch of scammers working together to get into people’s computers. BT really should get on top of this! it’s so annoying!

Got a recorded call from someone saying they were 'Shirley' with 'my internet company', said they'd been trying to reach me for ages. They warned my internet would be cut off if I didn't ring a certain number. I just ended the call straight away, didn’t bother calling back. Pretty sure it was one of those autodialler scams.

I've been getting loads of calls every day from this number and others like it. Since I don’t know who they are, I just let it go to voicemail. But each time the answer machine picks up, they just hang up, which is pretty annoying. It’s a pain having to check the caller ID every time the phone buzzes.

Got a call from someone called Shirley claiming to be from my internet provider, saying my connection would get cut off in a day or two because my IP address was 'compromised'. They told me to press 1 to talk to a techie. Yeah right, no thanks. These scammers seriously need to be put to a stop.
