Got a call from this number and it was obviously spoofed. Honestly, feels bad for the real company whose number they’re using. It was some sort of life insurance scam, and I’ve no clue who these scammers are. But seriously, why use a genuine business’s phone number to try and seem trustworthy? It’s even weirder because the number was from a chip shop miles away from me - why on earth would they ring me up? That’s way dodgier than just an average 0800 number tbh.

I saw the number but wasn’t sure who it was so i just let it ring out, no message left either.
