This isn’t the Martin Lewis Money Saving Expert website, it’s moneyexpert.com! Bit misleading really. They’re a legit company though, and if they’re ringing you, it’s likely you’ve dealt with them before - maybe got a quote or switched your energy supplier like I did last year (guess that’s how they got my number). If you’ve got a smartphone, try getting a call blocking app... still trying to find a good one myself! They mainly use automated dialling which just hangs up if you don’t answer quick enough or your voicemail picks up. Now I just google the number, save it as NO! and ignore the call altogether (I keep my phone on silent or discreet ring outside work hours). BT make some decent cordless phones that can block up to 180 numbers, which is handy. Even threatening to report them to the TPS doesn’t always work, but it’s worth signing up anyway - and it’s free!

Got a call from this number right around 8pm tonight, I picked up just in time and then it went totally silent! When I rang back, all that came through was some random music. Honestly, it's left me feeling a bit creeped out!

This lot claimed to be from Martin Lewis Money Expert, but they're total scammers. From what Martin Lewis himself said, Money Expert would never just ring you out of the blue. Avoid these fraudsters!

For months now, I've been getting calls from this number nearly every day. Someone mentioned it might be linked to Money Supermarket, but I haven’t signed up or given them any info since January, and now it’s already July. This constant ringing is driving me nuts! This number rings me quite often, but nowadays when I see it on the caller ID, I just let it ring out and then check BT 1571. As expected, they never bother leaving any voicemail! I’ve just got into the habit of not picking up if it’s this same number.
