I got a call from these people who started off by saying they were offering free advertising, then told me they'd come round to explain everything in person. I agreed to meet them in a couple of days, but something seemed off, so I looked up their number online. Turns out loads of others had been scammed by them. When I rang them back, pretending to be the Kent police to cancel the meeting, they answered with “Manchester NHS hello,” which totally threw me. After cancelling, they got really nasty and rude on the phone. Seriously, just hang up and stay well clear - they’re slick but dodgy as hell.

Today I got a call from someone claiming to be from Staff Discounts UK, saying they were ringing for the Kent Police Federation. When I asked them to clarify who they were representing, the person got really rude. I told them I wasn’t interested, but they just pushed harder and asked why not! In the end, I just said no again and then they went quiet and hung up.
